a phenotype is a physical trait of gene and the probability is the likelihood. Example of phenotype: brown, tall. probability example is having 2 red beans in a bag with 2 blue beans the probability for choosing a red bean would be 2 out of 4 or 2:4 or 1:2 ratio.
