An example of an indirect good in the fast-food industry is paper napkins.

Indirect goods are goods that are used in the final production of a good or service. For some places it could be materials used for marketing or pieces used to complete a product. In the fast food industry, paper napkins are an indirect good because they aren't used as the direct product they are selling but they are indirectly part of the overall final product.
