A pitcher contains 3 1/2 pints of lemonade. Susan pours 5/8 of a pint into a glass, and Mateo pours 1/2 pint into a glass. How much lemonade is left in the pitcher?

we have 3 1/2 pints of lemonade
3 1/2- 1/2 (Mateo)=3
3- 5/8= 2 8/8- 5/8=2 3/8 lemonade left
