Communication media is the section of network device which is used to make connection with other devices. Only one device is capable of making connection to the communication media at a time. In computer network, the communication media is shared by all the devices on the network and only one device can transmit messages to the communication media at a time. Different network protocols such as TCP/UDP, IP are used to communicate with the device.
