The area of the rectangle would be A=lw

A=24*16
A=384cm

Since the length of the triangle is 24cm, and at the opposite length 14cm is given, the dotted line's length would be 24cm-14cm=10cm,

Using that, the 10cm could be used as the height of the triangle

A=bh/2
19(10)/2
190/2
95cm.

384+95=479cm
