I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm really bad at math.

Is it possible to factorize:
[tex] {x}^{2} - \frac{x}{2} [/tex]
If so, how do you do it step by step?

Yes, it is possible.

Rewrite the expression as:

 " x² −  [tex] \frac{1}{2} x[/tex] "  ; 

Factor out an "x" ; 

"  x(x − [tex] \frac{1}{2} [/tex])  " .
