Yugoslavia is usually said to have split into 6 nations.

1) Bosnia-Herzegovina
2) Croatia
3) Macedonia
4) Montenegro
5) Serbia
6) Slovenia

Some maps even count Yugoslavia separating into 7 nations.

when Yugoslavia first split up, there were only several nations that came out from it. However, later on into the 21st century Yugoslavia would split into Bosnia-Herzegovina , Croatia , Macedonia , Montenegro , Serbia , Slovenia  and Kosovo.
