Religion is something that people can believe in, and it gives us hope. When we believe in something, there’s a reason for everything, and that is comforting. It also (to everyone) creates a sense of culture and belongingness for groups of people. Whether monotheistic or polytheistic, they all believe in a God, someone that is a higher being with power.
