Velocity which is a vector quantity is given by the ratio of distance covered to time taken. The speed in this case is 130 km/hr, we can convert it to m/s
 =130 × 1000/3600 = 36.11 m/s
But, distance is given by velocity × time
Therefore, in 0.1 sec the distance will be 0.1 s × 36.11 m/s = 3.611 m.
Hence, when the driver looked aside for 0.1 sec, the car covered a distance of 3.611 m.
