Everything that takes up space and has a mass is matter.

Basically almost everything around you is matter. Even air, yes, gas is a form of matter. Even you think it has no weight, but there's still very little molecules and atoms around that takes up space and weight.

The only examples that is not a matter are for example some ideas, such as friendship, time, memories etc.
