To find the slope of a line, divide the vertical distance of the two points by the horizontal distance;
So the slope between (-3,5) and (4,6) will be:
[tex] \frac{6-5}{4-(-3)} [/tex]

And this is equal to 1/7, so the slope of the line is 1/7.

Hope this helped
