Hello!

Using the Pythagoras Theorem we can solve this equation. a[tex] a^{2} + b^{2} = c^{2}[/tex], where a and b represent legs and c represents the hypotenuse.

Again YOU CANNOT SQUARE ROOT EVERYTHING:

[tex] 3^{2} + 4^{2} = 5^{2}[/tex]
9+16=25

BUT:

3+4 \neq 7!!

To continue:

[tex] 8^{2} + b^{2} = 10^{2}[/tex]
64+ [tex] b^{2} [\tex] = 100
[tex] b^{2} [\tex] = 36
b = 6

The other leg's length is 6.
