Which property of multiplication or addition was used to rewrite 5(2−7) as (2−7)5 ?

Okay. Commutative property of Multiplication was used to rewrite the problem. The order moves around, so it's definitely not associative, as the numbers would be in the same order, but parenthesis in different places. It's without a doubt not identity or zero property, and it does not have to do with addition at all. The answer is definitely Commutative property of Multiplication.
