How was the Euphrates River and the Tigris River positive and negative to societies of the Fertile Crescent.

The positive aspect was that it created a lot of fertile ground that the early people used to build early river valley civilizations in that area. The negative aspect was that they couldn't control the river so it would sometimes happen that the rivers flood and destroy crops which meant that there would be less food for people.
