Marco states that 7.696696669…… is a rational number because it is a repeating decimal. Is he correct? Justify your answer.

no because if it were repeating it would be repeating the same number over and over again. so its neither repeating or rational.

He is incorrect.  The number is not repeating. Notice after the decimal you have 69 after it is 669, then 6669 which are different numbers and not a repeat.
