123•0.47=57.81

you can use the product of 123•47 to help you solve for the product of 123•0.47 by seeing that all you do is move the decimal yo the left 2 spaces. The reason you move the decimal to the left 2 spaces is because 47 is 0.47 just the decimal was moved 2 spaces to the right.
