Maya did the homework in 36 minutes.
Jane did the homework in 52 minutes.
How many more minutes did it take Jane to do the homework?

If we subtract the time taken by Maya to do homework from the time taken by Jane to the homework i.e ( 52 -36) minutes , it results to 16 minutes and that's the extra time taken by Jane to do the homework..
