The perimeter of a rectangular garden is 286 feet. If the length of the garden is 88 feet, what is its width?

Perimeter of a rectangle is given by 2×length + 2×width

If we know the perimeter and the length, then the width

[tex]w= \frac{286-2(88)}{2} =55[/tex]
