Find the area of a rectangle with length of 6 inches and width of 2 feet.

Area of a rectangle: length times width (L•W).
Convert 2 feet into inches: 2•12=24.
Put the length and width into the formula: 6in•24in=144in.
Simplify: 144in=12ft.
Area=12 ft :)
