The distance of two towns is 3.6km.
What would be the distance on the map?

The answer is 6 cm. The scale is 1cm:60,000cm. When you take 3.6 and divide it by 60,000 you get 0.00006km on the map. This then converts to 6 centimeters on the map. Just remember: King Henry Doesn't Usually Drink Chocolate Milk.
