So Sally gets payed $32,448 a year and gets paid the same amount each week. To figure how much she gets payed a week, divide her salary by 52 weeks since there are 52 weeks in a year. Then we divide how much she makes a week by 40 to see how much she gets payed an hour since she works 40 hours each week:
32,448/52 = 624
624/40 = 15.6
Sally makes $15.60 an hour.
