Translational motion

Translational motion is the motion by which a body shifts from one point in space to another. When jane is sliding down a slide, it is moving from one point in space/slide to another. Vibrational motion is the movement (upwards, downwards, forward or backwards) from a certain point where you return to the same point whereas rotational motion is movement about a certain point (circular movement)

Hope this helps!!!!
