The vacuoles in a plant cell are much more larger and take up a large portion of the cell but animal cells vacuoles tend to be smaller. The plant cells vacuole is permanent when the animals is temporary. A plant cells vacuole is formed by budding off the membrane, the animal cells vacuole is formed by the organelle called the Golgi body.
