To answer this problem, we assume that the gas being referred to in the problem is ideal. If that is the case, we will be able to use the ideal gas law given to be,
                                  PV = nRT
The equation that would best relate the volume and temperature of the ideal gas is,
                               V₁T₂ = V₂T₁
Substituting the known values,
                               (2.9L)(343 K) = (V₂)(320 K)
The value of V₂ is 3.11L.
