Earth's historical time has been divided into "Eras" & there are six eras of different time periods, the eras in the sequence from old to recent is:
1) Azoic
2) Archaeozoic
2) Palaeozoic
4) Proterozoic
5) Mesozoic
6) Coenozoic

They are further divided into "Periods" & "epochs"

I think it's enough & hope this helps!
