In physics, a force is said to do work if, when acting, there is a displacement of the point of application in the direction of the force. Nonconservative force for this question refers to FRICTIONAL force.

By conservation of energy,

Work done by Frictional force = Kinetic energy = 1/2(17000)(82)^2 = 57MJ
