The y-intercept is the value of "y" when x=0.

Answer. y-intercept= 4

Given two points (x₁,y₁) and (x₂,y₂) the slope passes through these points will be:
m=(y₂-y₁)/(x₂-x₁)

For example :
we can consider the points (0,4) and (4,0)
m=(0-4)/(4-0)=-4/4=-1
