If the grass is removed, then the grasshopper will not get any food. If the grasshopper does not get food, then the species will decrease and eventually die out. When the grasshopper dies out, then the lizard and the frog will have no food and they will die out. When they die, the snake will have only mice to eat, and there would be more competition. In the end, the food web would be unbalanced.
