I haven't done any science assignments of the unit we are learning and I have no clue at all what it's all about...what is active transport...and what is passive transport...I need help in some way to know what it means In easier words..pls!

Active Transport: Moves ions and molecules from lower to higher concentrations using energy.

Passive Transport: Move ions and molecules from high to lower concentrations without using energy.

The main difference is one uses ATP (energy) and the other does not.

Active transport is moving molecules from high to low concentration
Passive transport is molecules moving from low to high concentration
