In 1hr a cyclist travels 10 km so multiply 10 by 2 then he travels 13 km in 1 hour so keep it the same add 10(2)+13 to get 33 it took him 3 hrs in total to travel this distance so you must then divide 33 by 3 and you get average speed 11 km/hr
