The answer is -1. A negative integer is an integer to the left of zero on the number line. It is less than 0. So the greatest negative integer is -1.

The answer is -1. Anything to the left of the number line is smaller for example -2 is smaller than -1 and after, would be 0 which is not a negative integer.
