You can solve this using the distance formula.

d = [tex] \sqrt{(x_2 - x_1)^2 + (y_2 - y_1)^2} [/tex]   Plug your coordinates into the formula
d = [tex] \sqrt{(6 - 4)^2 + (1 - 3)^2} [/tex]   Subtract inside the parentheses
d = [tex] \sqrt{2^2 + (-2)^2} [/tex]   Simplify the exponents
d = [tex] \sqrt{4 + 4} [/tex]   Add
d = [tex] \sqrt{8} [/tex]   Simplify
d ≈ 2.8284   Round to the nearest tenth
d ≈ 2.8
