You make both sides exponent of [tex]e[/tex]: since we have

[tex]e^{\ln(x)}=x[/tex]

we also have

[tex]\ln(X)=\ln(Y) \iff e^{\ln(X)}=e^{\ln(Y)}\iff X=Y[/tex]

where X and Y can be any expression.
