the output is f(p). and the input is p...so we r inputting 2 for p
f(p) = 3p - 2
f(2) = 3(2) - 2
f(2) = 6 - 2
f(2) = 4

so the output is 4

Answer: The output of the function is 4.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

[tex]f(p)=3p-2[/tex]

We need to find the output if input is 2.

Here, input = p = 2

And output is f(p).

So, our output becomes,

[tex]f(2)=3\times 2-2\\\\f(2)=6-2\\\\f(2)=4[/tex]

Hence, the output of the function is 4.
