Answer: a) [tex]136\times 10^{-12}m[/tex]

b) [tex]136\times 10^{-10}cm[/tex]

Explanation:

Given : Radius of molybdenum atom  = 136 pm.

As length is measured in units of meter, cm, pm etc. All these units are interconvertible.

Using conversion factor :

a) [tex]1pm=10^{-12}m[/tex]

[tex]136pm=\frac{10^{-12}}{1}\times 136=136\times 10^{-12}m[/tex]

b) [tex]1pm=10^{-10}cm[/tex]

[tex]136pm=\frac{10^{-10}}{1}\times 136=136\times 10^{-10}cm[/tex]
