Open Road is a political cartoon that was meant to introduce
the Open Door Policy in China. The US had portrayed as Uncle Sam in the
cartoon. The Open Door policy was taken from many imperialist ideas. Because of
this China, had slowly grown in term of economy, allowing foreigner to enter and
trade within their premises
