Answer:

Some functions repeat forever (sine and cosine) and those functions are known as periodic functions.

The period goes from from any point to the next matching point or one peak to the next peak.

The mid line or center line is a horizontal axis about which the graph of a periodic function oscillates.

The amplitude is the height from the mid line to the peak .
