While under British rule the economy was doing pretty good and the province was expanding. While the georgia colonists didn’t appreciate the taxes the were willing to deal with it for protection. Southern colonists were terrified that native americans would invade or attack them and the british promised to protect them and were doing a pretty good job. But ultimately loyalists were forced out as revolutionists brought violence upon those who pronounced support to the crown.
