Answer:

y= 8/3 x - 9

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of any given line is y=mx+b

where m is the slope and b the intercept point with y=axis.

First lest obtain the slope by using slope's equations

[tex]m=\frac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}}[/tex]

Where (x2,y2)= (6,7) and (x1,y1)= (3,-1)

[tex]m=\frac{7-(-1){6-3}[/tex]

Thus we have that our slope is 8/3

Now lets found our intercept point with 'y' axis.

We can use the first point  (3,-1)

-1= 8/3 * 3 + b

b=-9

The equation is: y= 8/3 x - 9
