What are the intercepts of y = 4x − 2

We already know the y intercept as it is the same value as the constant which is -2

To find the x intersept let’s set the y value to zero

0=4x-2
0+2=4x
2=4x
2/4=x
1/2=x

Therefor the y intersept is -2 and the x intersept is 0.5
