The United States entered a non-interventionist policy from 1932 to 1938. President Roosevelt considered that it was not prudent to get involved in the ongoing conflicts that were going on in Europe. However, the countries position would drastically change after the bombing on Pearl Harbor in 1941 by the Empire of Japan. As a response to this, The United States decided to side with the Allies and enter the Second World War.
