The vertex form:

[tex]f(x)=a(x-h)^2+k\\\\(h,\ k)-vertex[/tex]

We have:

[tex]g(x)=3(x-2)^2-5\\\\h=2,\ k=-5[/tex]

Therefore the vertex is (2, -5).
