we are given

[tex]g(p)=(p-2)[/tex]

[tex]h(p)=(p^3+4p^2-2)[/tex]

now, we can multiply them

[tex]g(p)\times h(p)=(p-2)\times (p^3+4p^2-2)[/tex]

[tex]g(p)\times h(p)=p\times p^3+p\times 4p^2-p\times 2-2\times p^3-2\times 4p^2-2\times -2[/tex]

now, we can simplify it

[tex]g(p)\times h(p)=p^4+4p^3-2p-2p^3-8p^2+4[/tex]

so, we get

[tex]g(p)\times h(p)=p^4+2p^3-8p^2-2p+4[/tex].............Answer
