The procedure for dividing 2 fractions is

• leave the first fraction

• change division to multiplication

• turn the second fraction upside down

• simplify if possible

- [tex]\frac{5}{6}[/tex] × - [tex]\frac{3}{1}[/tex] = [tex]\frac{5(3)}{6(1)}[/tex] = [tex]\frac{15}{6}[/tex] = [tex]\frac{5}{2}[/tex]
