Evaluate d-6 when d= -8

Evaluated:


(1) d - 6 = -8 -6

(2) -8 - 6 = -8 + (6)

(3) -8 + (-6) = -14


First you change D into it's correct number which 6.

Second you take the subtraction sign and make it it's opposite.(Addition.)

Third you add -8 and -6 to get -14.
