First things first. 7/8 x 4/5 is 28/40=7/10. It is smaller than both numbers. When multiplying fractions, the answer gets smaller and smaller. The answer of multiplying fractions will always be smaller than both factors because you are multiplying a number less than 1 so it just gets smaller and smaller. That’s the best I can explain it. Sorry:)
