It seems like it is the multiples of three going backward started from 15. Basically, you are subtracting 3 every time, starting from 15.
15,12,9,6,3,0,-3,-6,-9 (the ninth term),-12,-15,-18,-21,-24,-27,-30,-33,-36,etc...
