(x , y) 
→ (y , - x)

The algebraic rule that describes 270° counter clockwise or anti clockwise about the origin is :

(x , y) → (y , - x)

Here the values of x and y are switched and x's value is changed to opposite sign. If the value of x is positive, it is made negative and vice-versa.
