2*2 equels 4 so you find out that x equels 2

Step 1: Flip the equation.
2^x times 
4

Step 2: Solve Exponent.
2^x times 
4

log2/x
log4
(Take log of both sides)
x times (log2 times 
log4)

x = (log4 times log2)

So, x=2
