Density of a substance can be defined as the mass of that substance per unit volume.

[tex] Density = \frac{Mass}{Volume} [/tex]

Given the mass of object = 9.0 g

Volume of the object will be the volume of water displaced by the object

So, volume of the object = [tex] 13cm^{3} [/tex]

Calculating the density from mass and volume:

[tex] Density = \frac{9.0 g}{13 cm^{3}} [/tex]

= 0.69 [tex] \frac{g}{cm^{3}} [/tex]

Therefore, the density of given object is 0.69 [tex] \frac{g}{cm^{3}} [/tex]
